Why I Created Corporate Power Play

Hello there!
I did not build this program from theory. I built it from experience.
I built it from years of navigating high-stakes corporate rooms, carrying the pressure to prove, and learning that hard work alone is not a career strategy.
For years, I followed the script many ambitious women are taught to follow:
Work hard.
Deliver results.
Keep your head down.
Be grateful.
Let your excellence speak for itself.
And on paper, it looked like it was working. I built a successful career in corporate. I rose in high-stakes environments. I delivered. I led. I became the person people could count on.
But as a Black Afro-Caribbean immigrant woman, I also knew what it felt like to be in rooms that expected excellence but were not always built to value difference.
I knew what it felt like to over-perform, overextend, code-switch, and wonder why excellence was not translating into the career fulfillment it was supposed to create.
Eventually, burnout and a health scare forced me to confront a truth too many women know:
Success can look good from the outside and still be costing you too much on the inside.
That experience changed everything for me.
My background in public accounting trained me to assess systems, identify gaps, examine evidence, and build strategy.
Now I bring that same lens to career power.
